Who we are
Bol Bhi Do is an independent service run from India. For privacy questions, data requests and grievances, write to hello@bolbhido.com. We reply within 7 days.
What we collect and why

We don't collect your phone number, contacts, location or your Google password. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who can see that you sent a note
The person you write to cannot see who you are. The record of who sent each note is sealed with encryption. It can only be opened by the Bol Bhi Do owner, with a secret key that is never stored on our servers, and only to review abuse and enforce our rules. Every such review is logged. We share it outside Bol Bhi Do only if the law requires us to, for example a valid order from the police or a court.
Email alerts
When someone leaves you a note, we may email you "You have a new note", at most once an hour. The email never includes the note itself or anything about the sender. You can switch alerts off any time in your inbox (Account → Email me when someone leaves me a note). Emails are sent through our email provider, Resend, which receives only your email address and the alert text.
How long we keep it
- The sealed record of who sent a note is deleted automatically after 90 days, unless the note was reported or held for review.
- Your account and inbox stay until you delete your account.
- If an account is banned for abuse, we keep its email address on a block list so it can't sign up again.
Your rights
You can delete your account at any time from your inbox (Account → Delete my account). This removes your account and your inbox. Sealed records of notes you sent are kept for up to 90 days for safety, then deleted. You can also ask us to access, correct or erase your data, or withdraw consent, by writing to hello@bolbhido.com. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Where your data is stored
Data is stored with our hosting provider, Supabase, in its Mumbai (India) region, encrypted in transit and at rest. Sign-in is provided by Google.
Age
Bol Bhi Do is for people aged 18 and over.
